A new way has been developed by the team of researchers in order to power and communicate with the devices which are implanted deep within the human body. Such kinds of devices can also be used in order to deliver the drugs as well as monitor the conditions inside the body or it can treat the diseases by stimulating the brain with electricity or light.

These implants are powered by the radio frequency waves that can safely pass through the human tissues and in the tests with animals, it is showed by the researchers and students of cbse girls school in Mansarovar Jaipur that these waves can power the devices located deep in the tissues. As per the researchers, as these tiny implantable devices have no batteries, still the researchers can now communicate with them from the distance outside the body.

This technology is opening the new ways of medical applications as they do not require any battery and that’s why they are tiny. In the study, a prototype has been tested by the researchers, which is about the size of a grain of rice but it could be made even smaller.

According to the researchers, it has the capacity to communicate with these systems even without the need for a battery and that’s why it would be a significant advantage. These devices can also be compatible with sensing conditions along with aiding in the delivery of the drug.

The medical devices which can be ingested or implanted in the body could offer many new ways to the doctors in order to diagnose, monitor and also treat many diseases. Now the team of researchers is working with students of Web Development Company Jaipur on the variety of ingestible systems which can be used in order to deliver the drugs as well as monitor vital signs along with it can also detect the movement of the GI tract.

In the brain, there are implantable electrodes which deliver the electrical current are being used for a technique known as deep brain stimulation that is generally used in order to treat the diseases. These electrodes can be controlled by the pacemaker like device implanted under the skin.
