A camping stove has been developed by the research team with the flame on the inside through which we can cook the food when the wind blows. It is greatly efficient in reducing the negative effects of wind and heat loss. This new design has been made with the use of additive manufacturing by the researchers.

There are many people who likes to camp in summers as it is the perfect opportunity to give up our everyday comforts for a while and instead cook a simple food on the gas camping stove. By keeping these facts in mind, a novel stove has been developed by the students of list of cbse board school in Mansarovar which can cope in the strong winds.

It is a kind of kettle shaped which encloses a gas burner and is able to protect it from the wind. In addition to this, there are multiple features in the kettle which are making it more efficient such as the wall of the gas burner which is rippled like the citrus juice.

It is able to increase the contact area between the flame and the jug and along with this; the wall is very thin which makes the heat transfer to the content of jug ideal. The interior of the burner is also packed with the engineering expertise such as gas nozzle which is known as venturi nozzles.

As per the researchers, through their geometry, it caused a localised drop in the pressure. It is helpful in increasing airflow which improves the quality of the flame and also boost the efficiency as well. In addition to this, a prototype is developed by the researchers of the kettle which is known as PeakBoil. They have also tested the prototype on the highest mountain ion the Switzerland.

According to the experience of the researchers and WooCommerce Customization India they find it windy and lots of difficulty in getting a traditional stove to work but there was no difficulty in heating the water with this prototype. They wanted to develop the special design but for this, they required additive manufacturing. In addition to this, they also built the gas kettle layer by layer through the stainless steel by using selective laser melting.
