A new design of the rechargeable battery has been created by the researchers by using salt. This new technology could lead the multiple ways for greener energy. As soon as demand is increasing for the electric vehicles and more sustainable forms of transport means, they are finding new forms of energy storage like batteries, super capacitors and fuel cells.
Currently a challenge is being faced by the researchers and SEO Company Jaipur in this industry which is the poor performance quality of rechargeable batteries that often loose energy as well as power rapidly. These researches have been published in many news papers in which research of rechargeable high temperatures batteries has been explained.
This research has been carried out by the researchers by using a novel and affordable rechargeable iron oxygen battery which is containing an electrolyte of molten carbonate and solid oxide. These new designs of the researchers merge the merits of a solid oxide fuel cell and molten air battery. This technology is offering significantly improvement in the battery reactions as well as power capability without compromising the energy capacity.
As per the researchers, currently the major challenge is being faced by the researchers to the rechargeable metal oxygen batteries, resides in the electrode reactions which is resulting in the low energy and power densities. That’s why activation of the reactions of negative and positive electrodes is essential for high performance rechargeable metal oxygen batteries.

They also consider elevating the working temperature of the metal oxygen battery by using metals. They can be activated at the high temperature and it keeps the cost low.
In addition to this, solid fuel cells have also been used by the researchers as negative electrode materials but there was one issue which was metal oxides forming between the metal and solid electrolytes and ion conductivity. A type of high temperature metal oxygen battery is the air battery that can use base metals for the fast multiple electron charge transfer in molten salts.
