There are various animals such as sea otters and beavers which is lack in thick layer of blubbers that injects walruses and whales. In dense layers of furs, these small semi-aquatic mammals are helpful in keeping warm and dry diving with the trapping of warm pockets of air. Students from Professional Web Design are inspired from this fur like animals and made rubbery pelt which leads to the identification of various mechanism which can trap the air between individual hairs in the cases, when these pelts are directly drive into the liquid.
The research has been conducted by the engineers which defines the understanding of the pattern of injecting themselves by the beaver like mammals while diving underwater. This is also helpful in order to the guiding and designing of bio-inspired materials which has warm and furry wetsuits. These wetsuits helps in the surfing of air and water environment. The arrangement of hairs, length and their spacing allows the controlling and designing of various textures that matches different diving speeds with the maximization of wetsuits dry region. Most of the animals are often covered by types of furs like thin, long and guard hairs that acts as a protector and defense for the most short and dense underfur. It helps in the penetration of underfur by the guard hairs which keep the water in different situations. Therefore, warm air has been trapped against the skin of the animals. Students from cbse board school in Vatika have created a surface which has been inspired by fur and shows various different dimensions that drives into the liquid surface at different speeds along with the air measurement that helps in the trapping of video imaging fur during the process of diving. Many different and unique molds have been created by the laser-cutting methods from hundreds and thousands of small and tiny holes in small acrylic blocks. For the alteration of spacing and size of individual hairs, a software program is used with each mold. Later, it is filled with soft casting rubber like PDMS which pulls the surface of the hairs out of the mold after the treatment.
