Discovery of New Way to Power Electrical Devices

A new way has been developed by the engineers in order to produce electrical power with the help of which handheld devices or sensors could be charged that monitor anything from pipelines to medical implants. A new world standard has been set by this discovery in devices called nano generators by producing a high density DC current which is a vast improvement over low quality AC currents produced by other research teams. A research was being conducted by the team of engineers which was unrelated to these tiny generators by using microscopes.

By using a tiny cantilever to feel an objects, images at the atomic level has been provided by these tiny generators in the same way we might learn about an object running a finger over it. The team of engineers of Best Engineering Colleges Rajasthan has seen a current coming from the material without pressing a button that would apply electricity to the sample and the reason is not known by the researchers. According to the researchers, one theory that it was an anomaly or a technical problem or interference but they wanted to get to the bottom of it. The cause on the friction of the microscope’s probe on the material has been pinned eventually by the team. It was like shuffling across the carpet and then touching someone and finally giving them a shock.

The mechanical energy has been turned by this of the microscope’s cantilever which is moving across a surface could generate a flow of electricity. But the team of Best B Tech College Jaipur generated a steady current instead of all the energy in one burst. Generation of the power has been tried by many other researchers at the prototype stages but their performances have been limited by the current density which they are getting and this problem has been solved by the engineers. It has been meant by the discovery that the nano scale generators have the potential for harvesting power for electrical devices which is based on nano scale movement and vibration.
