Sometimes we imagine that a little dinosaur which is a robot just shrinks down small enough in order to be fitted through a gap which is at the bottom of a wall and after that redeploys at a full scale on the side or it can be a curved claw which is stretches out over a mound of rubble for saving a teddy bear trapped in a fire. For a new way of making collapsible devices which would be based on the curved telescoping parts, these are just some of the possibilities.

Telescope is an instrument with the help of which we can magnify the distant objects and this word has been entered as a noun in English language. From camera tripods and antennas to baskets, telescoping parts are being used in everything. A team of professors of computer science and members of the robotics department of Jaipur Engineering Colleges began to wonder that by using curved parts that bend and rotate as the telescope, how many types of different type of objects they could make and finally one way has been figured out by them but they wanted to know all kinds of possible ways and the answer was that any space curve which is of constant curvature could be a telescope.

By this, the team of scientists has developed a way in order to automate the design of telescoping structures. Along with a few assumptions, there mathematical model for telescoping structure started. Their assumptions were that the only rigid material must be used in the manufacturing of each shell such as metal and they should extend and contract without bumping into itself as well as no empty or wasted space between nested pieces should be there. The team of researchers of Top MBA College in Jaipur is inventing new technologies in this field. Their work on a model led to a key geometric insight.
